01

Choose the support you need

You may want help with a few fragile items or a larger part of the home. Explain what is already packed and which rooms remain. Packing availability, materials and labour are confirmed as part of your estimate.

02

Pack for handling, not just storage

Use sound boxes, secure the bottoms and avoid making individual boxes too heavy. Cushion fragile contents and fill empty space to limit shifting. Ask about suitable packing for mirrors, artwork and unusually shaped items.

03

Make labels useful

Mark destination rooms on the top and side of each box. Add a brief description and handling instructions where needed. Set aside items you will carry personally, and make that area clear to the crew.

04

Discuss furniture protection

Ask which blankets, wrapping and disassembly services are included. Photograph existing condition and point out loose parts or delicate finishes. Specialty items may require additional preparation or a different service arrangement.
